God was with us from the beginning (in the form of Jesus Christ the Son).
He has always been God. Therefore the Word Incarnate (the Son) has always existed. He is God and has the Glory of God (John 17 v 5).
God made us (fashioned us) and everything else was made by Him (Colossians 1 v 16). He is Life itself! He gave Life (Himself) to man i.e. the Holy Eucharist, the Holy Spirit, the Word of God and being made in His image and likeness.
Where He is there cannot be darkness - for He is LIGHT and darkness CANNOT stand and above all else it CANNOT win! Therefore we have the VICTORY, so we must persist in prayer when darkness surrounds us and be a source of light for others.
We must therefore be like Jesus in these dark times and let our light shine for all to see. We know that we will be persecuted for our faith but we are STRONG in the Lord .
He is with US so let us persevere in these harsh and evil times; remember scripture says, “you will know them by their fruits” (Matthew 17 v 16, 20).
